About SafeQuard
The Transport Layer Security (TLS) is the de-facto security channel for all businesses that operate over the Internet. However, the promise of data confidentiality is no longer possible with the advent of quantum computers. An attacker can collect the encrypted TLS communications between the users’ devices and data centers today (“harvesting”) and use a quantum computer to decrypt the communications sometime in the near future (“attack”). Sensitive data such as authentication credentials (passwords, biometric minutiae), transaction details (payee, account numbers, transaction values) and customer information will be targeted by such attacks.
SafeQuard, by pQCee, is a suite of quantum-safe cryptographic tools that secures data against harvesting attacks. SafeQuard is Javascript based which can be dynamically loaded and executed within web browsers to protect specific HTML fields without any separate installation or configuration. By using standards-based Post Quantum Cryptography, SafeQuard ensures that harvested data are resistant against attacks by quantum computers.

This diagram shows how SafeQuard Post-Quantum End-to-end Encryption works for browser applications.

Use Cases:
- Identity Credential – For secure transmission, protecting against identity theft and safeguarding individuals, institutions, and the industry.
- Transaction Data – Protect sensitive payment information, such as credit card details, account numbers, payee names and addresses.
- Form Submission – Forms that contain sensitive information and data which may have value to attackers even after an extended period.
- Online Chats – Provide end-to-end encryption for chat messages.
